Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is a Martial Art that focuses on grappling and ground fighting to control and resist your opponent.
The main difference between Gi and NoGi is the clothing. In Gi Jiu-Jitsu, opponents wear traditional clothing and are allowed to grab each other’s clothing and use it against them. NoGi Jiu-Jitsu is typically done while wearing athletic clothing, like a rash guard and shorts and opponents are not allowed to grab their opponent’s clothing.
Either way both are an excellent form of fitness developing stamina, flexibility, balance, coordination, and core stability. In addition at Freestyle MMA you will also develop confidence as well as meeting new people.
This class focuses on all the wrestling and grappling skills of MMA covering take downs, clinch work, ground control, submissions, submission defence and more.
